About this event
Helen Leaver is a Cornwall-based abstract artist, best known for her calm and contemplative dream-like oil paintings in soothing colour palettes, inspired by the Cornish sea, lichens and rocks.
Join Helen on her first solo exhibition at The Poly Falmouth’s Spring gallery, where she will showcase her latest original abstract oil paintings exploring the liminal space.
Her multi-layered oil paintings incorporate found Cornish earth pigments, creating texture and nuances spotted on closer inspection.
These paintings offer the viewer respite, an invitation to slow down, pause and reflect.
Open Tuesday 24th June ending Saturday 28th June at The Poly on Falmouth’s Church Street.
