About this event
Hellys International Guitar Festival is known throughout the world as a centre of guitar excellence. Performances include a whole range of guitar styles, plus there are free lessons, talks, workshops, give-aways and a competition… all held in a family-friendly atmosphere in the heart of Helston.
The 2023 event runs from 22-26 Aug and features performers from around the world as well as young and locally-based performers. This year’s line-up (subject to change): 22 Aug – Luke Tyrrell (UK), Iago Banet (Spa) and Gustavo Dotas (Arg); 23 Aug – Eden Quinones Duo (UK/USA), Alex Roche (UK) and Aleksandra Sapok (Pol); 24 Aug – Alasdair Dow (UK), Miguel Szuba (Pol) and Claude Bourbon (Fra); 25 Aug – Phil Hare (UK), Yvonne Bloor (UK) and Marco Carta with Denise Gueye (Ita); 26 Aug – Priedwieczor Duo (Pol), Chris Woods (UK) and the Phil Grispo Band (UK).
