About this event
As an ecological artist, my work evolves from rituals with Nature, creative sustainability and reliance on the Natural World. Throughout my creative process I don’t often find myself finishing pieces of work, they tend to be re-visited and re-made as the core of what i’m interested in is Nature taking back control. I feel that it is important to remind ourselves regularly of how much we rely on The Natural World, of what lies beneath our feet.
One of the reasons I am opening up my studio this year is that I feel it is important to share the all aspects of our work, even the pieces that didn’t go to plan or we don’t like. There will be a selection of drawings, naturally dyed fabric works, and an instillation comprised of mixed media ritual works.
When visiting my studio this year you will likely find a well used, chaotic space in which I spend time making, archiving, reflecting and enjoying my creative practice.
I look froward to meeting, chatting and drinking tea with you all!
