HIDDEN COAST
AN EXHIBITION BY THE ARTIST PAUL SCRAGG
16 JULY TO 22 JULY 2021

Paul spends a good part of the year walking and sketching the north coast of Cornwall. Hidden Coast is a body of his work, mostly watercolours, produced during the last two years.

It provides a record of the many landscapes that have provided inspiration over that period. These places have been captured for many different reasons, perhaps for their unique rock formations, or particular lighting effects at different times of the day.

They vary in character and many people walk past them as most are not tourist destinations, so in a way, they are hidden places that are in full view. During this period Paul’s chosen medium has been watercolour which he feels captures the dynamic energy and mood of Cornwall’s amazing coastline.

Framed original paintings, studies and prints are available to purchase.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Paul is self-taught and has been painting since childhood. He became a professional artist and tutor in 2012 when he established the company called Man in the Moon.
