Penzance Literary Festival presents: Betty Walker's tales of the Cornish Girls

Cornish-based author Betty Walker poses the question: how much do you really know about Cornwall’s wartime history and of the women who kept the home fires burning? Set in St Ives, Victory for the Cornish Girls is the sixth in her popular Cornish Girls series, centring on the stories of a young spy, a ‘Donut Dolly’ American performer and a code breaker.
