IMS Prussia Cove brings world-class musicians to Cornwall, who give inspirational classical concerts

Founded in 1972, IMS Prussia Cove nurtures and inspires world-class musicians and brings outstanding music to Cornwall, under the Artistic Direction of cellist Steven Isserlis.

Every year, we bring over 250 musicians from across the world to live and work together on a remote stretch of the Cornish coast, for two three-week seminars. These seminars offer extraordinary opportunities to young artists, and nurture an international community of musicians throughout their careers. Our concerts bring world-class music to audiences in Cornwall and across the UK, and our outreach programme inspires young people and communities in Cornwall.

The Autumn Tour is an opportunity for IMS Prussia Cove to show the work done during the Open Chamber Music Seminar to a wider public, bringing world-class chamber music to new audiences. The musicians taking part each year have either had a long association with IMS Prussia Cove, or have come through the Masterclasses more recently, bringing together an ensemble formed of young and more experienced musicians. The group performs in several locations around the UK, ending in the Wigmore Hall in London.

The church has a ramped entrance, and there are toilets, accessible toilets and baby changing facilities inside. There is also a hearing (induction) loop. There is some parking in the church car park, with several others nearby. The closest, within 10 minutes walk, are Moorfields car park, Tabernacle Street and Lemon Quay. Truro train station is about 20 minutes.
