IMS Prussia Cove nurtures and inspires world-class musicians and brings outstanding music to Cornwall. Our seminars, concerts and outreach work enrich lives through music and inspire new generations, under the Artistic Direction of Steven Isserlis.

Every year we bring over 250 musicians from across the world to live and work together on a remote stretch of the Cornish coast. Our seminars offer extraordinary opportunities to young artists, and nurture an international community of musicians throughout their careers. Our concerts bring world-class music to audiences in Cornwall and across the UK, and our outreach programme inspires young people and communities in Cornwall.

Under the Artistic Direction of renowned cellist Steven Isserlis, a wide range of repertoire is explored each seminar, and the performers in the concerts are some of the outstanding young musicians taking part in the Spring Masterclasses. The professors only select a few to perform from each class, and these concerts are a wonderful opportunity to hear some vibrant young musicians on the brink of their international careers. The different programmes are decided each week and are announced on our website a few days before each concert.
