About this event
This body of work was made over 3 years of drawing, carving, sewing, printing and painting in Cornwall. Each piece started with the artist taking time to still and notice her body and it’s response to both the Cornish Landscape and to her own emotions in the moment. This was a conscious response to the business of life in 21st Century UK often asks of us and following a deeper desire to become more present to nature, to each day and unravel from ‘keeping up’ with societies demands and see what art would emerge. The body, it turns out, has a lot to say and these art works were an embodied effort to be alive to that. They feel.
