Role of Women in the Siege of Lucknow Talk

Celebrate International Women’s Day by finding out about the role of women during The Siege of Lucknow in 1857. Join Museum Volunteer and Citizen Curator, Val Marshall for a fascinating short talk about women at this time. Talks at 1pm, 2pm & 3pm.

Emily Hobhouse Talk

Learn about Victorian welfare campaigner, feminist and pacifist Emily Hobhouse with our Curatorial Intern Katie Sawyer. Talks at 1:15pm, 2:15pm & 3:15pm.

International Women’s Day Crafternoon

Create your own inspirational girl or woman from paper to take home. Runs from 12pm – 3:30pm
