We are now touring Jason Singh’s Following the Fleet, a captivating live soundtrack performance by beat-boxer and electronic artist Jason Singh, to John Grierson’s ground-breaking 1929 silent movie, Drifters.
Drifters re-traces the historic journey of boats, men and women in pursuit of the abundant herring shoals migrating down the UK East coast to the Baltic. But its powerful imagery and soundtrack, make this a live soundtrack performance that appeals to a diverse audience. Jason’s live beatboxing and electronics make this a unique and exhilarating performance.
It has toured the northeast coast, and we are excited about bringing it to the coastal areas of the southwest where Jason is now based. Jason is also an engaging workshop leader and is keen to run sessions with young people in the lead up to performances.
