About this event

A 3-day celebration of Cornish poet John Harris

A celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of this 19th century poet and miner. Based at the Penventon Park Hotel, Redruth, this weekend-long event includes talks, entertainment, food, a schools competition and trips to ‘John Harris country’. The latter includes Falmouth, where Harris spent the final years of his life, and a chance to see his grave at Treslothan Churchyard.
