Johnny is an entertainer who likes to get among the people during performance -with a wealth of tales and yarns to spin. Johnny has a natural warmth that makes him popular, to family audiences and adult audiences alike. His clear Cornish voice make every word (and song when singing) easy on the ear, yet still invigorating.
His topics including – The ever changing face of Cornwall, Ladies appliances, Cornish Family life, holiday makers and much much more….have his audiences laughing with tears running down their faces or running for the loo!
As well as providing his entertainment for all manner of Charity’s – Including the Children’s Hospice South West – he raises money for Churches all over the Country.
Johnny has cycled London to Paris for the Meningitis trust and Run The London Marathon twice for Cornwall’s Ambulances (F.L.E.E.T), raising over £10,000.

Cornwall based theatre company Popp Theatre have created a new, innovative theatre space for an exciting season of performance in Truro.
Gwaryjy (‘theatre in the house’ in Cornish) contains 16 clear pods, each cocooning the audience around the stage, creating a safe space for both the audience and the performers. Based at the Pydar Pop Up in Truro, Gwaryjy is a fully accessible venue created by Catherine Lake & Jason Gerdes.
Each pod has space for 4 people, and pods will be sold as a whole, costing £30. A single occupancy rate will be available for £20.
Popp Theatre is supported by Arts Council, Crowdfunder, Cornwall, Council, Truro City Council, Arts Well, and Stephens Scown LLP.
