An intimate evening of live music JoSh Rogers and Laurence Richards

An intimate evening of live music and vocals with solo and joint performances from Laurence Richards and JoSh Rogers with the sound of the ocean in between.

Laurence is a gifted singer/songwriter from Chew Valley, Somerset. A brilliant fingerstyle guitarist and earthy vocalist, Laurence plays original material amongst some of his personal favourites from those that inspire his sound. Influences include Richard Thompson, John Martyn, Fleet Foxes and Nick Drake.

JoSh has been writing original songs since he first picked up a guitar aged 13. Walking between folk, indie and acoustic singer/songwriter sounds, JoSh brings authentic energy, his unique voice and life experience to the music he plays and will be sharing tracks from his debut album (Naked – iamjoshrogers) along with more original material. Self-reflective, introspective and relatable lyrics sit amongst a variety of instrumental accompaniment including the ukulele, guitars and banjo. Influences include Radiohead, Johnny Cash, The Dubliners, Beirut and The National.
