Fresh from their success at Theseus’ palace, in an encore no one requested, this summer, the Midsummer Mechanicals – Quince, Bottom, Starveling, Flute, Snout and Snug hit the road with two new shows: their own inimitable takes on classic tragedies Julius Caesar and Macbeth.
In this new 60-minute mash-up of Shakespeare, come see the Mechanicals perform the Bard’s work as it was never intended.
They’ve got water balloons! Scripts! A five-foot cardboard dagger! A dog! As well as lots and lots of laughs and heart. The only thing they don’t have is talent.
Grab a picnic and come and join us outdoors for some family fun and silliness.
