Hayle Pilot Gig Club is building its Junior squad so come and try Cornish pilot‑gig rowing.

Hayle Pilot Gig Club is building its Junior squad, and we’re inviting 10–16‑year‑olds to come and try Cornish pilot‑gig rowing.

Session options
• Saturday 10 May 2025 – 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm
• Saturday 24 May 2025 – 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
You can stay for the full session or drop in for part of it—just make sure the consent form is completed.

Where
Meet on the beach beside North Quay slipway, Hayle Harbour (TR27 4DD), next to Gilbert’s for sign‑in and a short safety briefing.

What to bring
• Shoes that you don’t mind getting wet
• Warm, flexible layers (you’ll heat up when rowing)
• Water

Life‑jackets provided; sessions follow CPGA and British Rowing safety rules and are led by qualified coxes.
