About this event
Join us for a celestial celebration at the Eco Park Barn!
Get ready for an unforgettable night filled with the vibrant energy of Tropical Pressure’s Jupiter’s Yard. Experience the electrifying beats of world-class DJs and immerse yourself in the rhythms that have become synonymous with Tropical Pressure. This spring, we’re counting down to the 10th-anniversary festival in July with a spectacular musical takeover.
Curated by Dave Spenceley of Sir Vinyl, this special evening brings together an exceptional lineup of selectors and DJs who will guide you on a global sonic journey. Expect a fusion of African and Caribbean club sounds, capturing the essence of the past, celebrating the present, and embracing the fresh vibrancy of the future.
Headlining the night, we proudly welcome Jo Bissa from the Netherlands, one half of the renowned UMOJA duo!
Jo Bissa is a producer, DJ, and co-founder of Amsterdam-based label INI Movement. With over a decade of performances across Europe and Africa, UMOJA’s music is a testament to the healing & transformative power of sound and dance.
Jo Bissa’s mastery of DJing stems from years of playing at festivals and clubs worldwide, sharing stages with artists like Quantic, Clap Clap, Jeremy Sole, Boddhi Stava, and Romare. His collaborations with Nicola Cruz and Nickodemus have further deepened his connection to African, Latin, and soulful music. Drawing inspiration from extensive travels and musical explorations, Jo Bissa has spent time recording and performing in East Africa’s vibrant nightlife and festival scene.
