About this event
I love being in my studio. Come and visit a working studio full of paintings, archive boxes of unframed watercolours, artist’s books, catalogues, framed and unframed work: some new, some in progress, and some from a few years ago. There will be range of prices available, from £20 to £3000. I’m very happy to talk about my work and the many sources of inspiration which nourish my practice (these include Persian miniatures, artists such as Maria Lassnig and Jospeh Beuys; writing by artists such as Helen Cixous and Anne Carson; writing about myths, and the landscape of wild places such as Shetland, the Outer Hebrides, and Italian mountain ranges). My library will be available to look at, and I’ll also be happy to talk about the many courses I teach in Cornwall and Devon.

Directions
When heading from Newlyn towards Mousehole, head along the Strand; when heading uphill, on a left hand bend, take the first right into Trewarveneth St . Go up hill for 70 m, studios are on the right in old school buildings.
