About this event
Katie Kirk and Rick Williams combine a love of early music with an ear for timeless quality behind contemporary songs. They recapture the feel of folk clubs of old. Paring their narratives of life, loss and landscape back to the essentials, Rick and Katie’s performances have compelling warmth and authenticity.
The distinctive, distilled duo have recently performed at Looe Music Festival, the Eden Project, Falmouth Maritime Museum, Calstock Arts and the newlyn curated Betjeman Sessions of the Cornwall Folk Festival as well as for folk clubs and village halls throughout Cornwall. This year they are booked as one of the headline acts at the St Ives September Festival and their long anticipated album is due out within the year.
