About this event
Join us in The Reading Room, Bodmin on Sunday the 16th of August from 1pm to meet local children’s author Suzanne Furness.
Suzanne will be here selling and signing her middle grade fantasy with Cornish folklore ‘The Storm of Clocks’, nominated for the Holyer an Gof Award in 2025. And her second book, the fun and quirky fantasy for readers 7+ ‘The Accidental Adventures of Jack Potts’. You may even get the chance to listen to some of her stories being read aloud.
Check out book descriptions, more about Suzanne and her books and their gorgeous illustrations on her website: suzannefurnessauthor.co.uk
As always there are a range of hot and cold drinks and sweet treats to purchase in The Reading Room, as well as books and gifts. We have children’s activities as well as arts and crafts and make-your-own bookmarks for book lovers of all ages.
The Reading Room is a pre-loved bookshop and artisan coffee shop run by and for Cornwall Mind. All profits go back into funding mental health projects in Cornwall.
