About this event
Fuelled by her passion for social justice, folklore, and feminism, Edinburgh based folk-pop singer songwriter Kim Edgar’s “imaginatively and beautifully crafted songs” (Maverick) reach out and touch listeners:
“Heart stopping…our very own Tori Amos” (Sunday Herald)
“probably one of the best songwriters in Britain today.” * * * * * (Spiral Earth).
Kim’s fifth solo album, CONSEQUENCES (2023), an album of collaborations with songwriters she admires, was launched at Celtic Connections 2023 and has been described as “diverse, satisfying and sumptuous” and “a persuasive exploration of human interconnectedness amid an uncertain world” (The Scotsman).
Want to see for yourself (just to tempt you: apart from the toothsome music, footage includes an MGC and some great furniture …)?
