King Charles III by Mike Bartlett, a future history play written in blank verse.

King Charles III by Mike Bartlett (2014) is regarded as a future history play and written in digestible blank verse. Set in the days following the death of Queen Elizabeth II audiences are invited behind-closed-doors into The Palace and No 10 to witness an insightful, gritty royal family power struggle. Royalist or republican you will relish this intimately staged, mock Shakespearean drama which examines political dynamics, royal rebellion and ascending ambition.
