Knit a chunky top-down jumper from start to finish with this 4-part workshop

The Top-Down knitting technique has soared in popularity in recent years – and for good reason! With no seams to sew and the flexibility to adjust fit as you go, it’s a game-changer for garment making.

If you’ve ever been curious about trying this method, this workshop is the perfect place to start. Over the course of four sessions, Truro Wool’s knitting expert, Julie Cowan, will guide you step-by-step through the process of knitting a simple, stylish jumper using circular needles. Designed specifically for this workshop, Julie’s exclusive pattern is worked Top-Down and In the Round and features comfortable raglan sleeves.

Whether you’re a novice knitter looking to complete your first handmade garment, or a seasoned knitting pro ready to explore a new construction style, this course will equip you with the essential skills and confidence to take on future Top-Down projects with ease.

As part of our Youth Yarnie initiative, we’re offering one free place on this workshop for a young person aged 12-18.
