About this event
Kurt Jackson has been the official Artist-in-Residence of Glastonbury Festival for over 20 years. In this time he has painted and drawn some of the biggest acts in the world as well as up and coming bands, stall-holders, circus performers, punters and places all over the sprawling festival site of Worthy Farm.
Please note the Jackson Foundation Gallery is currently closed until further notice. However you can still view this collection online at www.jacksonfoundationgallery.com/art-music-activism/
These paintings are then sold to benefit the festival charities Greenpeace, Oxfam and Water Aid, raising over £250,000 to date.
This immersive exhibition aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of both Glastonbury Festival and Greenpeace as well as raising vital funds to support the ongoing work of the pioneering environmental charity.
Expect an eclectic range of artistic expression spanning painting, poetry, sculpture, installation and film spread throughout the four gallery spaces.
Throughout the run of the show there will also be a prize draw with the chance to win an original Kurt Jackson painting.
