About this event

A Christmas lantern festival like no other. Make your own 'tin' lantern, and join the parade.

Help us create magical lanterns to call back Wotholga, the giant of Godolphin Hill.

Take part in a free making session in The Old Chapel, led by local artists, to create your own twinkling tin lantern. Suitable for all ages. Sunday 3rd and Sunday 10th December, 11am – 4pm

Then on 15th December from 17.30, join our procession from Godolphin House, along ancient footpaths to the Old Chapel in Godolphin Cross. Hot drinks by donation at Godolphin House so bring some cash!

The walk is less than a mile along footpaths and may well be muddy so come prepared.

This is followed by carols, mulled wine, hot dogs and more, in the Chapel from 18.45 to 21.30.

Please note the night of the procession, it will be cold and muddy so make sure you wrap up warm, bring a torch or your tin lantern. The bar is cash only.
