About this event

From merry Take and Makes to glistening light trails, Christmas at the Museum takes on the theme of Lanterns and Lights with a magical nautical twist.

Christmas has arrived
Decked in festive lights, traditional wooden boats take on the role of our magnificent Christmas trees as they welcome visitors into the Museum.

Magical Take and Makes
Glistening lights inspire our seasonal Take and Makes.

Light Trail
Search high and low for the twinkling lights dotted around the Museum – discover them all to claim your prize.
