Launceston Cornwall was home to Charles Causley and his legacy is kept alive in the amazing programme of the Charles Causley Festival, which is headlined for 2025 by comedian and poetry broadcaster Frank Skinner with Sky Arts Prize nominee Ella Frears, among three days of family workshops, poetry walks, readings, tastings, town trail, castle picnics, and mentoring. Other poets and artists include Daljit Nagra, Pascale Petit, Katrina Naomi, Stephen Emmerson, novelist Patrick Gale, and BBC folk winner Jackie Oates, with many more.
