Lego letterpress printing – Easter at KK!

Explore the art of letterpress in this creative, family-friendly workshop!

Join Bristol Common Press on Wednesday 8 or Thursday 9 April, 10am-12pm or 1-3pm, and be inspired by letterpresses and Lego to make your own unique prints.

You’ll use a 3D-printed type, which includes both letters and image blocks, to create your own message or design before working with the team to print it on a portable press.

This drop-in activity offers a unique way to experience the history and craft of printing through a playful, hands-on approach. Suitable for all ages, the workshop encourages imagination, experimentation, and offers a chance to take home a print of your own creation.

Accessibility

Details

Kresen Kernow is fully wheelchair and pushchair accessible, with lifts to all levels and automatic main entrance doors. Accessible toilets are available on both floors, with a fully-equipped Changing Places toilet also available on the ground floor. Separate baby changing facilities are also available on the ground floor. If you are arriving by vehicle, there are six accessible parking spaces at the Tesco side of the building and a level entrance into the building. If you are arriving on foot or wheels, from Redruth town centre, the closest entrance is at the end of the public path which runs through the old brewery site, from Chapel Street to Kresen Kernow. Please note, Kresen Kernow does not have a fire lift, but two fire refuges are located on the first floor.
