About this event
Through the Robartes, Nursery and Family Routes in the House, explore the library of the Agar-Robartes and a selection of books, revealing personal stories of the Victorian family.
In the Gallery, discover John Robartes in his role as resident physician of Lanhydrock, the Early Roman, Greek and 17th Century medical texts he consulted and the medicines he prepared to cure his family and household of their ailments.
Then take a stroll through the garden, to find the plants used in these 17th century cures.
This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue
