About this event

Learn how to construct a lidded box, made of bookbinders board and covered and lined with paper.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

In this full day workshop you will learn how to construct and cover a lined and lidded box, made of bookbinders board, covered in beautiful Japanese Chiyogami paper and lined with velvet paper. All materials are supplied along with lists of stockists for future projects.

The cost of the workshop covers all the materials required as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks etc. Lunch is not provided.

Aprons are available for you to use however, as glue is involved, you may wish to wear clothes that can get messy!
Don’t forget your reading glasses if you need them as there is a lot of close up work.

ABOUT YOUR TUTOR
Ken Futers graduated in Textiles and after a long and successful career in retail and customer support started Books n Boxes in 2011. Completely self taught in bookbinding Ken has gone on to teach hundreds of students.
