About this event

At this time of year, we are reminded that no matter how busy our lives are, sometimes we need to take some time to reflect on what’s important to us and to remember those we have loved and cared for.

This year, Cornwall Hospice Care returns to the cathedral with Light Up A Life and we are delighted to be able to welcome you to remember with us, together. For those who are unable to attend in person, you can still be a part of this beautiful and unique celebration, as the service will be live-streamed on the Cornwall Hospice Care website.

The moving candlelit service will be led by Bishop of St Germans, Reverend Hugh Nelson and Reverend Canon Alan Bashforth, and will include readings from our hospice nurses, music by the Imerys Singers and a moment of silence to remember. Your dedications to loved ones lost will feature during the service and gradually, we will light a candle for each and every loved one we are remembering until the cathedral is full of light with the love of friends and families brought together in spirit.
