About this event
Spoken Word & Poetry Night at The Liskeard Library
What to Expect!
A warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with stories, poetry, and performance that will leave you inspired.
This spoken word night is built around the theme “Treasure Hunt”.
It’s about the simple thrill of looking for something — that tug in your chest when you sense there’s a clue nearby, or the moment a tiny detail suddenly feels important. A treasure hunt that doesn’t shout, but quietly invites you to follow along and see where it leads.
Supporting poets are invited to take the theme wherever it goes for them, sharing stories of hidden things, near‑misses, lucky finds, and the unexpected discoveries that appear when we pay closer attention.
This is an intimate night of spoken word, celebrating the joy of searching — the small rush when a clue makes sense, the surprise of finding something you didn’t know you were looking for, and the gentle magic of paths that unfold step by step.
