About this event
Join Looe Island nature warden, Claire Lewis as she shares stories of her life on the island. Claire and her partner Jon have been managing the island since it was bequeathed to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust in 2004. During that time they’ve learnt to understand the challenges of living on and managing the nature reserve.
Claire will share stories of the island wildlife that they have grown to know so well, along with the logistics of running a unique nature reserve surrounded by our wonderful seas. The talk will be delivered via Zoom, but we will show it on the big screen in the Millpool Centre. It will be followed by our in-person monthly meeting to which all are welcome.
Under 18s must be accompanied (in-person) by an adult. This is a FREE event but donations to Looe Marine Conservation Group are welcome. Please check our website (www.looemarineconservation.org) and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/LooeMCG) closer to the time of the event for the most up to date information. Any other queries please email [email protected].
