Writing fiction is a chance for Lucinda to go back to the places and events in her life, and relive them – or change the ending. She usually finds a way to incorporate the things that matter to her most in her work, whether it is her hobbies and interests or wider issues that she feels strongly about.
The landscape is very important to Lucinda, and her books are set in places she knows and loves. Many are based in Cornwall where she grew up and now lives.
