About this event
My work is mainly landscape based. I love colour so that is one of my joys in painting. The studio looks out onto a garden full of birds, which is always inspiring, as are the wonderful moors and Cornish coast which I love to walk. I have a studio cat, who may be in hiding, but he will appear as a character in my work.
I have become very involved with printmaking, especially making monoprints which I find a lovely free process. I mostly work from memory but images develop as series over time, sometimes moving from one medium to another. I like to revisit subjects, interesting things happen that way.
In the studio I will have a collection of paintings and prints, framed and unframed. There will also be works in process which I will be developing during the week. A lot of my work is unique one off pieces, but I do have some small editions. There will be work available for sale and cards.

On B3257 coming from A30 direction, turn left at crossroads just before traffic calming, left again after 50yds at 2nd small crossroads. Rose Cottage 100yds on right, parking on roadside beyond. (from Callington turn right after traffic calming ends)
