Lucy Innes Williams' work is a celebration of all things floral and expressive through a playful intersection of painting, collage and textiles.

Lucy welcomes you to her studio, directly facing onto the Penryn River in the centre of Penryn. Inside Lucy’s studio you will find a selection of new framed and unframed paintings, drawings and works in progress.

Taking inspiration from the sub-tropical gardens and cliff paths around her home in Falmouth, Lucy finds joy in capturing movement, light and process through a playful intersection of painting, collage and textiles. Her paintings are rooted deeply in her own personal associations to nature. Lucy works through a combination of sketches from life, carefully constructed compositions, and entirely unseasonal flora. The presence of the human hand is key to Lucy’s paintings, and it this expression of colour and movement which informs her work

Lucy graduated in 2007 with a BA(Hons) Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College of Art. After a decade-long career working in exhibitions and artist management for public and private art collections, she returned to painting.

A limited studio sale will run throughout for older works. Lucy will be painting new works and/or sketching up new paintings for Summer/Autumn 2024 exhibitions. Alongside her artwork will be a range of printed goods from her sister company, Floradore. Artwork ranges from £50 – £1000 and Floradore products start at £6.
