About this event
A self taught artist, My first love is textile art so you may find a few gems from a previous life on display. Nowadays I experiment with a mixed media approach to paintings, using mainly acrylics over lots of mark making and collage. My preferred theme is one of houses in the landscape, but sometimes inspiration comes from the boats in Penzance and Newlyn harbour. Occasionally I experiment with watercolours, using pen to define shapes or to overlay images of delicate leaves and grasses. I’m a bit of an eclectic artist if I’m honest.
My studio lies at the back of the house and is accessed through a side gate where you’ll also have access to a toilet. In the garden there will be seating and shade available should you want to rest awhile before deciding on your next visit.

Unfortunately we have granite steps to the house so not wheelchair friendly I’m afraid.
Directions
Take West Cornwall hospital turning on A30 bypass, continue to mini roundabout. Turn right, continue down past the police station following the road round to right. Continue along Alverton Road for around 1/4 mile turning left at Open Studio signs.
