Macramé Family Fun Festive Decorations Workshop

This relaxed and friendly workshop is perfect for complete beginners as well as those looking for their next textile art project.

A special family fun festive decoration workshop, making a few decorations, including the popular Santa Gonk, reindeer tree hanger and/or beady friends depending on age and ability. There will be something for everyone.

What colour woolly hat will you choose for your gonk? It does not have to be traditional red or green.

The projects for this session will be tailored to the audience and will be suitable for children (when accompanied with an adult).

Under the guidance of Lucy, you’ll be shown how to create festive projects to keep or gift. Some of the projects will use Macramé yarn as decorations and others will involve a little glue and sparkly magic.

Why not kick-start the festive season with this family fun session.

About the tutor
Lucy from Hearts and Pearls is a self-taught Macramé artist based in Falmouth. Grown from a hobby, her business specialises in propagating rare trailing semi-succulent plants, including the popular String of Hearts and Pearls, and through this, she first explored making decorative plant hangers from Macramé yarn. Having experimented with various projects over the years, she now runs Macramé workshops in the local area. She designs tutorials for others to learn the basics of this historic art form which are available online in Etsy.
