Celebrate spring and make your own spring pot to display in the museum.
Join us in the studio for fun workshops which celebrate making for all ages. Each workshop explores a different way to make with clay.
When: Selected Saturdays (Please see details below). Drop in 10am – 12pm
Where: Beagle Cross, Leach Pottery
Who for: These are intergenerational workshops for all ages. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Capacity: This is a drop in workshop with no booking required. If the studio is full at the time of your arrival, we encourage you to spend some time in the museum before returning.
Equipment & materials: Although we have aprons you may wish to bring your own. Please dress in clothes you don’t mind coming into contact with clay and slips.
Cost: Free for TR26 and TR27 postcodes (please bring proof of postcode). £6 per participant.
Saturday 11 February: Experiment with different coloured clay slips as you take inspiration from the slip depiction of Michael Leach
Saturday 18 March: Join us for National Heritage Lottery week and make a clay pinch pot.
Saturday 8 April: Celebrate spring and make your own spring pot to display in the museum.
