About this event
Every week across August the Leach Pottery is going to a different Cornish town to lead a pottery workshop. Each workshop will focus on a different element of a tea set and participants are led through how to hand-build the form.
Participants can submit one piece to have fired and glazed at the Leach Pottery. Pieces will be ready for collection during October Half-Term workshops which will take place up at St Ives Community Orchard.
Tea Bowls: Tuesday 5 August, 10:30-12.30pm & 1.30-3.30pm. The Exchange, Princes St, Penzance TR18 2NL. Drop-in, no booking required.
Sugar Bowls: Tuesday 12 August, 10:30-12.30pm & 1.30-3.30pm. Hayle Recreation Ground, 57 Brook Way Hayle, TR27 5AL. Drop-in, no booking required.
Jugs: Tuesday 19 August, 10-11am, 11.30-12.30pm, 1.30-2.30pm, 3-4pm. Camborne Library, The Passmore Edwards Building, Cross St, Camborne TR14 8HA. Booking essential via Camborne Library see website.
Milk Pourer: Tuesday 26 August 10:30-12.30pm & 1.30-3.30pm. The Buttermarket, Station Hill, Redruth TR15 2PP. Drop-in, no booking required.
