Join us for an unforgettable evening of sea shanties at Jubilee Hall, Mevagissey. Enjoy lively melodies that celebrate maritime history while supporting the Mevagissey Shanty Festival fundraising efforts. Bring your friends and family to celebrate the joy of song and community spirit!
Our performers for the evening are:
Shanty Sam Wheatley: Just one man singing his way for funsies, singing the classics and his own shanties. Sam has performed at many shanty festivals in 2024 including Mevagissey which he loved, and is back for some more!
ACapella Moonshine: A women’s shanty group that embodies the spirit of the sea and the women who draw their life from it.
Months Advance: Emily and Josh’s music takes an irreverent stance on history, places and people, and combines originals with traditional songs from the days of sail, peopled with handsome cabin boys, Jack Tars and unfortunate tailors pressed into service on the briny.
Bar will be open: Keltek beer, wine, cider and non- alcoholic drinks
Pre order pasties: £5.00 (Steak, Cheese & Onion, Vegan)
Pre order Jumbo Sausage rolls: £3.50
Cakes and snacks will be available to purchase during the evening.
