Mid Life is a Diverse City show, in association with Theatre Royal Plymouth

Vivid, rebellious and joyful – Mid Life is a frank, comedic exposé of menopausal Mid Life. Join us as we laugh, roar and disco dance our way through our midlife!

Mid Life sold out in venues across the UK in 2020. Rewritten and revamped, this upbeat, life-affirming show is packed with razor sharp humour and disco. It draws its themes from real life experiences of women in midlife and ends with a dance party for all to join in.

Mid Life was originally developed in 2019 in partnership with Bristol Old Vic Ferment. The work in progress played at Ferment, High Tide Festival and Brixton in 2019. In 2020 the show played to packed out houses at Weston Studio, Bristol Old Vic and The Pit Barbican Theatre London.

This show will be BSL interpreted, with recorded audio description. We strive to offer a comfortable and accessible experience for all visiting Sterts. If you have a specific access requirement you would like to talk to us about in advance of your visit please email [email protected] or call 01579 362382. All our seating is unreserved. If you need to reserve a seat due to an accessibility requirement, e.g. you need to sit near the front to lip read, please contact us directly after booking your ticket and we will make the necessary arrangements. We do not currently have an ear loop installed. This is a provision we are committed to and hope to provide in the near future. If you require a free carer ticket, please contact our Box Office on 0333 666 3366. For any other access requirements please flag this when you book. We have two accessible toilets and a changing place facility on site. The changing place provides a larger accessible space with equipment including a changing bench and a hoist to support disabled people who need assistance.
