About this event
Tradition has it that Jesus Christ was born at midnight – a new day and a new beginning in the history of the world. In accord with this tradition, the custom grew that Christians met together to receive Our Lord in word and sacrament at the very time when he came into the world. Midnight Mass at the cathedral begins at 11 pm and will contain the traditional readings, congregational carols and choir carols that make this service so special each year. All welcome. Booking is not necessary for this service.
This service will be live-streamed, as well as able to attend in person, on this page at 11pm and the replay will be available to watch on this page after the service has finished. If you have any problems viewing the live stream or replay, please visit our Youtube Channel.
