About this event

Local Cornish landscape paintings in both oils and watercolours, a range of signed prints and greetings cards, and set in an old Mine Captain's house.

I am a British Landscape Painter capturing local Cornish scenes in both oils and watercolours. I try to create atmospheric paintings, inspired by the dramatic weather and light effects I experience, living here in the far South West of the UK.

I will have a broad range of original work for sale, as well as a selection of limited edition signed prints, and a range of greetings cards.
The work is all displayed against the backdrop of a lovely old Mine Captain’s house.

There are 4 shallow steps, plus a stepped hearth in order to enter the gallery.

Directions

The Mike Sheardown Gallery is situated just off the B3306 coast road, about a mile North of St Just. Opposite the turning to Botallack, turn right up a narrow lane signposted Tremorran, and Mike's Gallery is at the last house at the top of the lane.
