About this event
From Mind to Mood is a one day workshop inviting participants to slow down and work intimately with images about relationships. This is not about taking new photographs – it’s about re-seeing, re-working, and transforming images participants already have. Through experimental editing techniques, physical manipulation, and zine-making, they’ll explore how images shift when we sustain our attention and revisit them.
Participants bring their own photographs and learn methods of visual transformation: rephotographing through layers, collage, painting, and other techniques that alter how we see. The workshop culminates in creating a handmade zine – their own piece of visual poetry.
