About this event
Keepers need to know about the birds and mammals to be cared for at Paradise Park. So, try the quiz, test your knowledge, and claim your special badge! Runs until 11th September 2022.
Paradise Park is home to over 1,200 birds including stunning macaws, flamingos, toucans, cockatoos, owls, lovebirds, plus, beautiful Red Pandas, rare Red Squirrels, tiny Harvest Mice, cute donkeys and much more.
Experience a wonderful close encounter ‘Flight of the Rainbows’ at the 1:45pm, where you can buy some nectar (£1.25) and feed the little parrots in the walk-through ‘Australian Aviaries’ in the walled garden.
Free flying Scarlet Macaws, the colourful and noisy flock of parrots will fly free out of their aviary at around 10:30am and will be at liberty for a few hours during the day – listen for their call bell.
