Get ready to dive into the mesmerizing world of surf and sea poetry! Join us at Hypatia for a performance filled with captivating words, rhythmic beats, and the spirit of the ocean.
This all-women poetry collective brought you Morvoren: the poetry of sea swimming in 2022.
They are back with Mordardh, which is Cornish for breaking wave. Their new project is supported by Arts Council England and involved talking to surfers across Cornwall – why surf is the ultimate question they were seeking to answer. Whether you’re a seasoned surfer, sea swimmer or simply someone who appreciates the power of words, this event is for you. Let the talented poets transport you to the waves, where adrenaline meets tranquillity, and where surf culture intertwines with the beauty of nature.
