Part of St Ives September Festival, get ready to dive into the mesmerizing world of surf poetry with Mordardh – Cornish for ‘breaking wave’. Join us for a performance filled with captivating words, rhythmic beats, and the spirit of the ocean. Whether you’re a seasoned surfer or simply someone who appreciates the power of words, be transported to where adrenaline meets tranquillity, and surf culture intertwines with the beauty of nature.

Led by Ella Walsworth-Bell, who co-created Morvoren, the poetry of sea swimming, Ella lives, breathes and writes sea poetry. For this project, she has collaborated with surfers, poets, and Alice Bray, a marine photographer. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to experience the magic of surf poetry.
