Mother’s Day at The Idle Rocks is a relaxed, waterside affair, centred around a long, indulgent lunch overlooking the harbour.
Alongside the à la carte menu, Executive Chef Guy Owen serves a selection of classic Sunday roasts, encouraging guests to linger and dine at their own pace.
Highlights include roast leg of lamb with wild garlic, spring greens and Yorkshire pudding; roast pork with apricot and sage stuffing; and a comforting nut roast pithivier, all served with seasonal accompaniments and rich gravies.
To finish, desserts include an apple tarte tatin for two with winter-spiced ice cream or a sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch clotted cream.
