About this event
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a relaxed and creative printmaking session designed for mums, daughters, goddaughters and close friends to spend meaningful time together. This workshop is about connection as much as creativity — a chance to slow down, laugh, experiment and make something beautiful side by side.
Working from an abundant floral still life, you’ll explore expressive botanical compositions inspired by seasonal blooms. You’ll be guided through a multi-approach screen printing process that combines mono screen printing, collage and hand-cut paper stencils. This layered approach allows for spontaneity and individuality, so every print will be completely unique.
Mono screen printing offers a painterly, one-off quality, while paper stencils help build bold shapes and delicate details. Collage elements can be incorporated to add texture and depth. Whether you’re completely new to printmaking or have some experience, the session is designed to be accessible, playful and supportive.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a collection of botanical prints and, more importantly, shared memories made through creativity. All materials are provided — just bring yourselves and a willingness to experiment.
A beautiful way to celebrate, create and connect.
