š¼āļø The next instalment of the #MusicOfTheRoseland project is taking place at the wonderful Philleigh Fayre on Wednesday the 7th August!
Philleigh Fayre is a highlight of the year, a family friendly community event featuring traditional games and an on site BBQ with plenty of food options.
šŗ St Austell Town Brass Band will be performing featuring four hymn tunes that were written by local preacher and composer Bob E. Martyn. The tunes are named after Roseland villages. These have been especially arranged by Hannah Hawken and we canāt wait to hear them!
This part of Philleigh Fayre is part of a wider project celebrating āMusic of the Roselandā, The Roseland Music Society, St Gerrans and Porthscatho Old Cornwall Society and the Cornish National Music Archive.
